Locations

Location, location, location. We know that where you're working can be really important. In that case our two key locations have something for everyone. Sellafield is right on the West Cumbrian coast, just north of the village of Seascale. Risley is in Warrington, close to the hustle and bustle of both Manchester and Liverpool.

Sellafield

Occupying a four square kilometre area (the vastness of the site really surprises most people) just outside Seascale, Sellafield represents the most challenging nuclear site management programme in the world. Step foot outside the site however and you're looking at some of the most stunning countryside in the world. With the magnificent lake district on your doorstep the opportunities for outdoor activities is incredibly varied - everything from walking and cycling to mountain climbing. You'll be joining an incredible 10,000 other members of our team here too, who've created a vibrant social network. Property prices are reasonable too, giving you the perfect chance to get your foot on the ladder.

Risley

Risley in Warrington is home to approximately 1,500 employees, most of whom are engaged on vital engineering and design related activities supporting our Sellafield site. Just a short commute away from Manchester and Liverpool, if you're after the big city life it's the perfect location.
